Bella back in the ring!

Bella came back to the show ring in March and April 2016 at 7 years of age after having 3 litters of puppies.  She was Best of Opposite Sex in two of those shows and had a great time out at the shows again!

2015 National Specialty in Virginia!

In June my friend Lynne and I drove to Virginia taking Wyatt and Stoli to attend the 2015 Standard Schnauzer Club  of America's National Specialty.  Sarah (Ch Always Keepin' the Faith) was also there with her owner Darlene.  We had a fantastic time visiting with old friends and making new ones.  Here are some photos of the dogs from the weekend!

Odie!!!!

Odie - Always on the Go - who is Stoli's littermate - hit the circuit in California!  He finished his championship at the Woofstock circuit going Best of Winners for his 4th major!

Stoli!!!

Stoli and I had a busy Spring.  In February and March she earned her AKC Championship and also her International Champion title!  She also went Best Bred By in Show at the International shows and won the Bred By group at two other events that weekend.

 

Always Keepin' the Faith!!!

Sarah (Gr Ch Always Keepin' the Faith) has been busy on the East Coast this summer.  In June Sarah earned her Gr Ch title and in August Sarah won a Veteran's Group 3!  Sarah just turned 8 on August 1st proving she's still got it and MORE!

Houston Shows!!!

Attended the Houston dog shows in Mid July - 5 days of shows in a huge and great location.  We had a winning weekend and just as importantly, lots of fun.  Stoli (Always on the Rocks) came home with another single point AND her second major.  That gives her 13 points now with 2 to go for her title!  Wyatt (Gr Ch Always Notorious) earned more points toward his Bronze Gr Ch title, going select dog for a major.  And Diva (Always on the Runway) earned her first points - a major - with her novice owner/handler.  More photos to come once we receive them but here is what we have now!

Brothers in OKC!

Nick and Wyatt joined 20 other Standard Schnauzers at the Oklahoma City shows in late June. Nick was Select Dog and Best of Opposite Sex on two days, and Wyatt Select Dog on another day.  Both boys are working on their Grand Championship.

May Shows

In early May, Nick (Gr. Ch. Always National Treasure) traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his handler, Paige McCarver. Nick took Best of Breed two days earning more points toward his Bronze Grand Championship! New show photo to come!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Odie (Always on the Go) was at the Hangtown Kennel Club shows in California with his handler, Brigette Isham.  Odie added another major to his count - 9 points now including both majors!  Here is a photo of Odie taken in the Fall.  New show photo to come!

Austin Shows - April 12th-13th, 2014

We had a total entry of 13 at the local Austin shows in April.  Clint (Gr Ch Always Make My Day) was our super-star this particular weekend.  Nancy and Dave brought him back out after a year or so off and took Best of Breed on Saturday and Best of Opposite Sex on Sunday.  We had a large group set up together and had a great time!

After we finished showing on Saturday, most of the Standard Schnauzers in our group went down and did the Barn Hunt Instinct test.  This is where the dog has to jump up on a bale of hay, go through a tunnel of hay and then figure out which of  3 containers contains the RAT and alert the handler by their behavior.   No problem!!!  Stoli, Wyatt, and Diva all did great as did most of the other SS!

Ice Storm!

The first weekend in December Wyatt and Stoli braved the ice storm to attend shows in Dallas, Texas.  It was a horrific weekend weather-wise but we braved the elements!  We truly almost did not make it to the show site the first day.  Good thing we did because we came home with a Grand Championship for Wyatt and a major for Stoli!

Eukanuba in Orlando!

Natalie (Gr Ch Always No Strings Attached RN CGC) gave us quite a thrill when she took Select Bitch at the Eukanuba shows in Orlando, Florida in December.  Below is a photo with owner/handler Kim Gremes.  Proud of you both!

Puppy Plans 2014

Next litter is now planned for Fall 2014! We were not able to do the Zeck x Natalie breeding in the February due to the bad winter storm on the East Coast.  Now we plan to do the breeding in the late summer which will make for Fall puppies.  Here is a photo of Stoli from the last litter to amuse you for now!

Natalie - Two Titles in One Weekend

Natalie (Gr Ch Always No Strings Attached) had a GREAT weekend in Austin in October - she attained two performance titles in one weekend.  She now has RN (for Rally Novice) and CGC (Canine Good Citizen) at the end of her name.  She also placed 3 days in Rally Novice with run-offs for first place two days!

Austin Shows!

Always Schnauzers had another great weekend at the shows in Austin the end of October.  Wyatt continued his winning ways taking Best of Breed two of the four days - only 2 points to go before he has his Grand Championship.  Stoli earned another two points toward her championship going Winners Bitch one day.  And sister Diva got some of the limelight going Reserve to a major one day.  This weekend Wyatt's littermate Natalie (Gr Ch Always No Strings Attached) joined in the fun and earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and Rally Novice titles all in one weekend!  It was a great time with great friends.

 

Stoli enjoyed watching the Toy Group - it was great fun seeing those "toys" so close!

 

Belton shows October 17th-20th

Stoli, along with her big brother Wyatt and sister Diva, attended the Belton shows this past weekend.  It was the most fun I have had in a long time and the dogs did great!  It was the first show for both Stoli and Diva, and also the first show for Diva's owner Veronica.  They did well and the judge even told Veronica she did an admirable job!  Stoli was shown in Bred By class all 4 days and made me so proud!  She was Winners Bitch for 2 points each on Friday and Saturday.  She had a lot of fun and although she did behave like the puppy that she is from time to time, she really strutted her stuff.  Wyatt is now working toward his Grand Champion title and had a HUGE win on Sunday - Best of Breed and made the cut in a tough working group!  It was so much fun watching them in the group.  We have 4 more shows in Austin this weekend - can't wait!

Meanwhile in California Stoli's brother Odie has already picked up his first major and a Best in Sweepstakes at the Northern Cal specialty!  Way to go Dottie and Odie!

New International Champions!

Wyatt and Natalie both ventured up to Ft. Worth in September to the IABCA shows.  Both dogs received their International titles and wonderful critiques from the judges.  Another fun thing to do with your dogs!
