Austin Kennel Club Shows April 14th and 15th, 2012

We had a great show weekend in Austin, Texas this past weekend!  New show site out at the Expo Center - it was a bit crowded but at least we were inside a climate controlled building which was especially nice when a storm moved through on Sunday.  Wyatt (Always Notorious) had a great weekend going Best of Winners both days and getting 3 more points.  Natalie (Always No Strings Attached) was shown by our instructor Sharon and was Reserve both days from the puppy class.  Clint (Ch. Always Make My Day) was Select Dog on Saturday and Best of Opposite Sex on Sunday winning more pts towards his Grand Championship.  Best of all it was a fun time with good friends!  Show photos will be posted as soon as I have them!

New Champion!

Nick went to Wichita, KS in early April with his handler Paige McCarver.  On Friday Nick was Winners Dog for two points, and on Saturday he was Winners Dog/Best of Winners for his second  major.   This win gave Nick his new championship at only 11 months of age!!!  We are so proud of him.  Nick will now start working on his Grand Champion title.  Show photo will be posted soon!

Wyatt goes Best of Winners in San Antonio!

Wyatt added two more points in San Antonio in March going Best of Winners on Sunday!  This gives Wyatt a total of 7 points at the age of 10 months!

Clint makes his ring debut as a special!

Clint (Ch. Always Make My day) came back to the ring at the San Marcos shows in February as a special for the first time taking Best of Breed on Saturday He followed that up with more wins in San Antonio in March accumulating a total of 12 points toward his Grand Championship!

Natalie gets her first points!

Natalie (Always No Strings Attached) came into her own at the San Marcos shows in February taking Winners  Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex for her first point.  The judge liked her so much she almost gave her Best of Breed!  She also won a Puppy Group 4!  Then at the shows in San Antonio in March Natalie picked up 3 more pts going Best of Breed on Thursday and Winners Bitch on Sunday!  Way to go Kim and Natalie!

I'm finally growing up!

Nick hits the show ring too!

Nick (Always National Treasure) hit the show ring in November and December as well.  His first weekend out in Houston he picked up a point, and just a few weeks later got his first major in Dallas.

Three more points for Wyatt!

Wyatt accompanied Mama Bella to the Conroe, Texas shows in December.  He was Best of Winners on Saturday for 2 points, and Best of Winners on Sunday for 1 point.  A fun time - he and Bella even had a win photo taken together!

I think I'm getting the hang of this show business!

Bella is back!

Bella is back in the ring working toward her Grand Championship after having a litter of 8 puppies.  In December we went to Conroe - Bella was Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday, and Best of Breed on Sunday!  She even made the cut in the group while earning her first six points (including a major!) toward her next title!

Wyatt's first points!

Wyatt and Lynne made their ring debut in Houston in November 2011.  They came home with a Puppy Group 2 and a Best of Winners for Wyatt's first two points!  It was a fun and exciting weekend for everyone!
